NOIDA Authority to get all property-related work done digitally within 3 weeks from June 1
The NOIDA Authority has decided to get all property-related work done digitally from June 1 in a bid to minimise physical interaction among humans. The shift comes in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic and on the directions of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare to government bodies and other entities to follow social distancing norms at workplaces.
All property services of NOIDA Authority will be made fully online from June 1 and the work will be done within three weeks. For grievance redressal, people can meet the officer on special duty and attend a predefined public meeting once the lockdown is lifted.
Chief Executive Officer of NOIDA Authority Ritu Maheshwari said, “All property services of NOIDA Authority will be made fully online from June 1. No one will be allowed or required to visit office for any work related to property. The help desk at the Authority office gate will facilitate uploading of documents related to the work to be done. The work will be done within a minimum of a week and a maximum of three weeks.”
People can access multiple property-related services online from payment of lease rent, transfer of memorandum to map approval and mortgage permission online on the website of NOIDA Authority. Through the website, applicants can get the work done in a time-bound manner. All kind maps of individual residential houses and industrial plots measuring up to 1,000 square metres will also be sanctioned online.
Applicants may submit the application along with documents online to initiate any property-related work. The portal will help applicants upload any missing documents as well.
Additionally, the details of all properties along with the allotment letter, transfer of memorandum, occupancy certificate, etc. will be made available on the website of NOIDA Authority under project ‘property management system’ by June end. The scanned copies of all documents detailing properties in housing, industrial, commercial and institutional departments are being uploaded online in order to ensure transparency. A unique identification number and password will be generated and sent to an allottee who wants to view the details of their property online. This will immensely help people who want to buy or sell a property.
