Haryana government launches ‘tatkal’ deed appointment service
CHANDIGARH: The Haryana government has launched ‘tatkal’ appointment for an out of the turn and instant registration of properties in the state.
In each tehsil, 10 appointment slots have been reserved for the tatkal service in addition to the 100 normal appointment slots.
However, those opting for the tatkal scheme of property registration will have to shell out an additional amount of Rs 25,000 as service charge.
Sanjeev Kaushal, additional chief secretary and financial commissioner (Revenue) said the provision had been made to enable an applicant to book deed registration appointment on a tatkal basis for getting the deed registered on an urgent basis.
Those willing use this service can book tatkal appointments online for getting the deed registered by paying the fee in the form of e-challan. Such an appointment can be booked only on the day of registration from 8am onwards, Kaushal added.
