Gurugram: Sushant Lok RWA goes to DTCP over poor upkeep

GURUGRAM: Irked with poor maintenance and high charges by the developer, the Sushant Lok Extension Residents’ Welfare Association met the senior town planner (STP) of the department of town and country planning on Wednesday.

Sushant Lok Extension includes Sushant Lok-2 and 3. In his complaint, RWA secretary R P Mittal said maintenance services in the area are pathetic, be it related to roads, sanitation, security or horticulture. In the meeting held on Wednesday, he informed STP Sanjeev Mann that residents have been forced to construct roads by pooling money, even though the builder, Ansal, is charging them for maintenance.

On this, STP Sanjeev Mann directed the builder management to charge water charges as per the rates fixed by HSVP. He also directed the management to submit details of maintenance fee collected and spent on the services provided to residents.

Allottees of a commercial project by the builder, Ansal Hub in Sector 83, also met Mann over delay in completion of the project. The project was launched in 2009 and was supposed to be delivered in 2014, but is still incomplete. During the meeting, the builder failed to furnish a satisfactory reply, after which STP said he would write to DTCP director K M Pandurang about action against the developer over delay.
