Gurugram: Residents of Imperia Esfera protest over lack of amenities
GURUGRAM: The residents of Imperia Esfera in Sector 37C on Tuesday took to their balcony and hung banners to express their displeasure over the poor services and lack of amenities.
They alleged that the society has no permanent electricity connection for the last two and half years resulting in frequent power fluctuations causing damages to their home appliances.
The residents pointed out that other facilities such as the club house and swimming pool are also lying incomplete. “We are left with no option to show our resentment in a peaceful manner without creating any law and order situation,” said one of the residents.
However, they said that they are being warned by the police to remove the banner after the developer — Pragati Associates Pvt Ltd — filed a complaint against the residents.
“We have asked the residents to remove the banners from their balconies as it is against the RERA guidelines. If they have any complaints against the builder they can reach out to the concerned department,” said Sanjay Kumar, SHO, Sector 10 A police station.
When contacted, the developer representative said that they are ready to hand over the maintenance for the last one year but the residents are not willing to take the responsibility but indulge in maligning the reputation of the company.
Meanwhile, the residents claimed that they have been complaining about several discrepancies in the maintenance and infrastructure development of the society, but the developers never respond to them.
