Greater Noida authority directs Gaur Atulyam’s builder to plug seepage in flats, basements
GREATER NOIDA: The Greater Noida Authority has directed the developer of Gaur Atulyam Society in Sector Omicron 1 to rectify the problems of seepage in the flats and basements by early January next year and give details of all the expenses
incurred on the maintenance of the society in the past three years. The initiative was part of GNIDA’s ongoing builder-buyer resolution drive.
The meeting between GNIDA officials and the society’s residents and developer was held under the supervision of Santosh Kumar, OSD and in-charge of the Authority’s builder cell, where the builder also handed over the long-pending Rs3.63 crore interest-free maintenance security (IFMS) amount to the apartment owners assocation (AOA) of the complex.
“We are holding periodic meetings with builders and homebuyers of different projects to resolve issues between them,” OSD Kumar said on Friday. “Under the drive, we recently addressed the issues of Gaur Atulyam Society, where the builder agreed to tend to the seepage issues raised by the residents by early January next year. Subsequently, the Authority team will inspect the work done.”
At the meeting, the residents also demanded the details of the expenses incurred on the maintenance of the society in the past three years. The buyers complained that the shops built for the society were not as per the building bylaws. To these,
the OSD assured a proper investigation. AOA president AK Singh and secretary Deepak Chauhan represented the residents, while the builder sent two of its representatives.
