Greater Noida authority allots institutional plots at 1.5 times the rate

NOIDA: The Greater Noida Authority has allotted three institutional plots worth Rs 15.40 crore
through e-auctions. All the three plots were sold at a 1.5 times higher price than the reserved
price of Rs 12.43 crore, officials said.
The allotment of plots is expected to attract an investment of Rs 250 crore and generate
employment for more than 250 people. These plots are located in Sector Omega 1, NH 31 and
Knowledge Park 3.
GNIDA, officials said, launched a scheme of 12 institutional plots in December 2022. A total of
four applications were received for the scheme. Bids for three plots were placed on Wednesday
through e-auctions. The reserve price of these three plots was Rs 12.83 crore. The last date for
application in this scheme was January 6.

GNIDA’s additional CEO Aditi Singh said that from these three plots, an investment of about Rs
250 crore is expected in Greater Noida and 250 people are expected to get direct and indirect
employment. “CEO Ritu Maheshwari has instructed the institutional department to complete the
allotment formalities soon.”
Officials said that more such schemes for institutional plots will be launched in the future for
better investment and employment generation.
