DTCP Nod is Now Must For Plot Registry in Gurugram

GURUGRAM: A no-objection certificate (NOC) from the department of town and country planning is now a must for registry of properties in Gurugram. And to make the registration process transparent, the department has deployed its officials at all the nine tehsil offices, officials said.

As per Section 7A of Haryana Development and Regulation of Urban Areas (amendment) Act 2017, registration of sale of land (less than 0.5 acre) in 95 villages of Gurugram cannot be done without an NOC from the department of town and country planning department. But there has been a spike in illegal registry of land in the first three months of this year, without the knowledge of DTCP.
