Delhi: New app for property tax payers

NEW DELHI: In bid to give major relief to property tax payers, the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) has introduced a new software called property tax Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) module to make the process simple and efficient.

It will work efficiently particularly for services like self-assessment of property tax, mutation, amalgamation and bifurcation, vacancy remission, property tax return etc.

The module will collect/record all information of properties within its jurisdiction, calculate the tax at prescribed rates, levy and collect tax in a totally transparent manner and minimise manual intervention.
