Gurugram: No RWA elections for a year, Ambience Lagoon flat owners write to PM
GURUGRAM: A group of residents in Ambience Lagoon has written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, seeking his intervention in a dispute regarding the RWA elections in the condominium.
The residents said they had been requesting the district registrar and the state officials for a year to hold the elections to the governing body of the RWA, which has been pending since June 2020, but their pleas have fallen on deaf ears.

When contacted, a member of the ad-hoc committee refused to comment on the matter.
Meanwhile, Ratan Deep, the appointed returning officer, said, “I was appointed by the district registrar in April. During the lockdown, it was not conducive to conduct the election process. Even the society was under LOR (large outbreak areas) till a few weeks ago. The election will be held under the supervision of the committee constituted by the district registrar…”
